The RS 1 was built in 1893 for Shipwreck Salvage at the Colin Archer Shipyard in Rekkevig , Norway. The ship was later named the Colin Archer after its designer and builder.

The kit includes laser cut frames for keel & bulkheads, and exotic wood strip for hull planking. Also included is the wooden deck planking, masts and spars,??metal??and wooden fittings, and pre-sewn sail material and??silk flag. The instruction booklet is very detailed, taking you through every step of construction.
