Delivery and Returns


Delivery is available for customers in the UK. Europe and the rest of the world.

 Items in stock will be despatched the same working day where ever possible.  Items not in stock will be put on back order and and shipped at not extra cost when they come into stock.  Orders after 12 noon may be sent the next working day.  Items delivered by Royal Mail First Class Recorded Delivery will require a signature on receipt.  If there is no one to receive the item, a card will be left and the item will be held at a local Royal Mail Office for collection.  The estimated delivery time for Royal Mail First Class Recorded is 2-5 working days.  Heavier items will be sent through a courier.  These items will usually be delivered between 2 and 3 working days.  Items ordered over the weekend will normally be processed on Monday.

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will back order it for you and automatically ship the item when it comes in.


Payment is currently by Paypal or calling us with your credit card details.  For orders to be purchased with a debit card or cheque, please phone 01803 211007.


We are confident that you will be happy with your product and our service.  The customer has the right to cancel their purchase within 14 days under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000. All items carry a manufacturer's warranty.  If you have any concerns, please contact us on 01803 211007.


In the unlikely event of you being unhappy with any product you purchase from Action Model Centre (AMC) please e-mail us at sales@actionmodelcentre.com or phone us on 01803 211007  in the first instance about your return, repair or refund and we will respond within 24hrs.  We will refund the full (purchase) price provided the product is returned,  100% working , in original undamaged manufacturers packaging, within 14 days of receipt .  AMC will refund any cost to the customer for sending back faulty goods to us. This is only valid when using a Royal Mail Recorded Delivery Postal Service.  Faulty goods will be refunded, exchanged or repaired depending on circumstances. 



Right to Cancel

You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods.

To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us, Action Model Centre, 34 Lucius Street, Torquay, TQ2 5UN (01803 211007 sales@actionmodelcentre.com of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or e-mail). You may use the attached model cancellation form, but it is not obligatory.

To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.

Effects of Cancellation

If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).

We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.

We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later thanó

  1. 14 days after the day we receive back from you any goods supplied, or

  2. (if earlier) 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned the goods, or

  3. if there were no goods supplied, 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract.

We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is earliest.

You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us at our head office Action Model Centre, 34 Lucius Street, Torquay, TQ2 5UN , without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.

You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
